I am running combat with a character with magic weapons and the bonus does not come out properly.
I have attached a screenshot.

Thank you for the screenshot. May I see the combat tracker as well? Dollars to donuts you have both IFT effects applied.

Sir D has all of those effects applied to him. So when you attack with a single weapon it searches and uses all of those effects. I have never seen an OSR game in which a character wields 3 bane weapons at once :p

This will explain how effects work and how IFT effects work. OSE is not 5e so not all of these effects are in the system but the basic ones are. In most FG games we use an effect system to add bonuses for powers [ Think Bless] or items like bane. That sword has a natural 1 bonus but when it hits a dragon it gets an additional 2.
In OSE I apply those effects automatically when you equip the item. Works for torches too.
