Hey all,

Is there a way to take the old modules that you can buy on fantasy grounds for Original D&D and AD&D and convert them, move files for, etc. to be utilized with OSE, specifically the BECMI option (thank you for adding that to the rules options)?

If so, could someone either point me in the right direction so that I can learn how to do it, or show me here? I'm admittedly not great at knowing how to move files around and such.

Thank you in advance.

There's an extension on the Forge called Universal Module which allows you to open a module developed fro on ruleset in a campaign opened from another ruleset. I don't know if it works from every system but it's worth a try. If you are able to open the modules then you'll have the stories and images but things like NPCs, and items will probably need to be redone.

I made an extension to do the conversions for you. You do not need the Universal Module extension. All 1e/2e store modules open in OSE.

This extension will convert entire encounters. This includes map placement. You can literally do the conversion on the fly while playing. The only thing that may require rework are weapons and armor in the treasure parcels.
