Is it possible to unlock the Advanced Story entries for D&D Rise of Tiamat (RoT)? I've finally come around to appreciating the Advanced Story features, but I'm not able to unlock the Advanced Story (formerly called the Reference Manual) for RoT. I can only edit the basic story entries, which forces me to go back and use the classic story features for this adventure.
I remember reading something about recent decisions to lock/unlock paid-for content and wasn't sure if this was related to that topic. I would like to have the ability to edit the Advanced Story items for all my purchased content, so I can avoid using the old Story entries.
I can always Revert that adventure to the unmodified state if I need to.

Rise of Tiamat is an older module and didn't have a reference manual when it was first released. The ref manual was added much later using a third party tool and so it's not in the same format as the advanced story pages that exist now. You can still copy any pages and paste into a new page if you want to edit a particular page.
Be aware also that the reference manual was added as an extra if you like and so the map pins etc all point to the original story entries and not to book entries as they would be now.

I understand the "third-party added Reference Manual" and risks of broken pins with the older content, but I was hoping to avoid having to copy/paste the entire adventure into new Advanced Story entries. I'm assuming that the added Reference Manual doesn't support user editing...?

Does the newer Tyranny of Dragons compilation (which includes RoT) contain a 'real' Advanced Story? I'm not happy about having to buy the same content twice, but I would consider it to avoid having to manually recreate the entire Story Book from the old Story entries.

Yes. The revised Tyranny of Dragons was developed wholly in Fantasy Grounds and the book entries are fully editable.
