**SOLVED**: Tag items as "silver" not "silvered"

Hey Guys!

Having trouble making silver weapons show up as not resisted.

I tried adding bother silver and silvered to damage type and it didn't work.

Any idea on what could work?

What up DM?

Just to make sure, did the creature you have us fighting have the following, exact, phrase in the Resistance or Immune field?

blunt, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons that aren't silvered

Can you provide details on the weapon and the NPC? You can also add silver as a damage type using effects

I was the player he was having the issue with. The weapon did have silver listed as a damage type.

I just tested against a werewolf with a blunt and slashing/silver and it seems to be working fine.

I also tested earlier today in my own campaign and it worked. So not sure what was going on. I have come across little things, like Gear Slots not updating immediately (sometimes it will take a few minutes for the Gear Slots to update on the character sheet after adding the item). There are other minor things that seem to stop working, intermittently. It's very strange.

Gear slots should update immediately if tou givw me the steps i can try and replicate. If the item is toggled to off from carried or equipped then it wont add the slot

I open the item menu and drag the item to the character's inventory. It only seems to happen when players are connected and only if the Gear Slot for the item is set to a negative number. I have some self created items that add gear slots. Changing from Carried to Equipped and back has no effect. It seems to update after a minute or two.

I'm also wondering if it may be something on the player's side as it only seems to happen to that particular player's characters. Been running games for this player and there always seems to be some kind of issue with game over the last 4 years that only affects him. He's had issues when placing light on his tokens, visibility when there is light from another source, at one point, whenever one of his characters had darkvision it would mess up all the lights around him for everyone, lol. Could it have something to do with him being a different country than myself and the other players?

If both you and player are on the character sheet and manipulating it then it is possible that it is being updated on client or host or vice versa. I don't know how the inside mechanics work but if you or he does something it has to send a packet across the interwebs to update it. It also has to be set in the host database.

It sounds like a player issue.

Also some scripts only run for host or client but I don't think that has any bearing on this. This is not something I can address with this player.

Thanks. I spoke with the OP and he should be getting back to you on the original question at some point. He had some things come up.
