View Full Version : How to keep players from making changes to games

Hello,
I am GMing a group of very curious, button clicky players who like to "see what this button does" . I have had lots of issues in the past with other VTTs (tabletop simulator as one example) where if I didn't lock everything down on a table or lock every model/character sheet then inevitably my game sessions would turn into me chasing game pieces around the board and fixing flipped over buildings and things because my players thought it was funny.

So I am curious about how to lock my players out from being able to click on certain items in the tool bar in FG? I know that players need to have access to some things, but I want to really block them from anything I don't want them to see. It would be great if I could somehow hide the tool completely from them even being able to see it so they aren't tempted to click on the buttons.

Is there anything like that available? or a setting somewhere that I am missing.

ALSO, I have noticed that there are many skills and things that cannot be locked in the player character sheets. I don't have a dishonest group per se, but as I said earlier, they like to click on things. Is there anyway I can lock the character sheets from certain changes being done to them. Obviously I know the character sheets need to be interactive, but I am really concerned stats and things are going to get messed up if I can't lock the sheets.

Thanks for any help you all can provide. Oh also, we mostly play the Fallout 2D20 game.

Good Day Smeagol11 :)
This might help with the PC character sheets if you are playing 5E. :)
