Names of Copied Items Records Not Appended - (copy)

When creating a copy of a record by dragging a link of the same type into the database browser (in the same Group) for most record types, it appends the new record name with "(copy)" which is super useful. For Items it does not.

Is this intended? I think it would be excellent if all record types (including Items) added the "(copy)"

Part of me thinks it used to work this way for Items, but I can't say for sure at this point.

I have noticed this as well. In fact the majority of things don't append copy. Only a few like stories, NPCs, Classes, feats, and a couple of others append (copy). Everything else doesn't. Like you I think at one time everything (or nearly everything) appended copy. So, I'm guessing there is an issue somewhere.

If copying from a module to the campaign (i.e. when viewing (All) in a campaign list); copy is not appended.
If copying from a module to the same module (when module is selected as Group filter) or when copying campaign record to campaign (either Uncategorized or All Group filter), then copy is appended.

I'll look at the Items one, since that is an exception to the behavior. I'm pretty sure it is because Items have their own handling, due to all the extra behaviors for dragging and dropping Items between different windows.
