Inspiration

With the new rules on inspiration, is there a mod that let's the players see if other party members have inspiration? Right now, players only see if their own PC has it.

As far as I'm aware (I'm never a player) all characters are shown at the top of the screen for the DM and all players and those characters with inspiration have a yellow star like symbol at the top right of their portrait. If you use multiple inspiration slots this will have a number inside it if the character has more than one inspiration available.

Yea, unless things have changed, players can only see the inspiration stars for the PCs they own.

I just asked my players and they are all pretty much in agreement that they see all of the characters and see any that have inspiration. I'm assuming the OP's mileage is varying here? Possibly an extension? Or possibly my players have imbibed too much New Year Spirit and are making things up :D

Hmmmm. I do run mods so it could be one of them interfering. Are you saying that a mod-free 5E 2024 game will allow players to see each other's inspiration yellow stars in their portraits in the upper right?

Edit: I just created a new 5E game with zero mods and had a player join and she couldn't see other party members' inspiration.

I've thought about this as well. I'll add it to my list to see what can be done.

It only works if the PCs have been shared previously in a campaign; but does not work by default.
