Maps Blanking Out

Greetings,

I opened a map from our last session this evening, and it was totally white. No grids, no tokens, nothing. This was a "read only" map from The Lost City of Paraxus module.

Oh well, I'll just open another map...

So I opens FG Battle Maps - Battle Map 04 and started placing tokens on it. After placing the third token (and NPC), no other tokens would place. After trying multiple things (deleted tokens, various controls) the map went blank just like the other map. This was a "read only" map from FG Battle Maps.

Alright, I tried again with Battle Map 03. Same thing.

I experimented, and narrowed it down to when I place a specific Player Character token.

I now have several maps that are "blank", even though they're supposedly "read only". We're going to try to continue without the one character being on the map.

In any case, I've attached my logs in the hope that something can be gleaned.

They are fat fingered "revert changes".

Revert changes. There is a shortcut usually on the top left of any image toolbar frame.

It almost sounds like you might be running out of memory or perhaps a video card drivers issue? Do you have integrated laptop graphics or a desktop with a dedicated video card? Does your machine meet the minimum specs for Fantasy Grounds?

Is the original map complex? How many tokens do you have on your combat tracker and map, including NPCs?

It does sound like a resource issue. Reboot your PC first.

Same problem...

Clean boot of PC, nothing else running. Revert changes and map appears ok.
Try to add PCs from Combat Tracker then white map.
Worked fine yesterday but there's been a minor update since?

I couldn't find a product containing "Paraxus" sold on the FG Store or the FG Forge. We would need to get a copy of the module and the name of the map in order to investigate the issue.

@CPJ,
I know that Seven Worlds is a store product. Which map were you adding PCs to?

Ok, so after some more investigation;

It seems that the characters and vehicles on the Combat Tracker had lost their "Tokens - Flat"... Deleting them from the Combat Tracker, reapplying tokens and adding them back on the Combat Tracker fixes the problem.

I should add, everything was fine yesterday, this only occurred today and I'm pretty sure there was a minor update yesterday?

The product page spelling does not match that of the PDF of the module.

In any case, adding the specific PC to *any* map causes the blanking of the map.

I'd removed the character from the Combat Tracker as well as the Party. Then added it back in, which failed. But deleting the flat token and re-adding it worked perfectly.
