The square is just white, I move it with the mouse to make it clear that there is an image there

There have been similar reports in the past weeks but I don't know if they should be resolved yet as I can not find them at the moment. Can you duplicate in a new campaign with no extensions?
EDIT: other report here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?83621-Animated-webp-Tokens-Blank
MOD: I will move this to the House of Healing since it is a bug/issue and not general discussion.

I pushed v4.6.2 after your initial post; which specifically addresses some issues with displaying certain WEBP images.
Can you please run a new Check for Updates; and let us know if you are still having the issue? Also, if still having issue, please provide a copy of the WEBP that is not working.
Thanks,

I realized what the problem is, the thing is that I use compression for webp files, from gif to webp using the tool, cwebp, or to be more precise, gif2webp. There is a parameter -m, which defines the compression method of the webp file. Without using this flag - webp is displayed correctly in FGU
