View Full Version : Changing required Skill for Weapons (Cannons)

Hello everyone!

First time posting here, so please tell me if I'm violating any rules.

I'm currently in the process of setting up our 50 Fathoms campaign, which we currently play in person, but want to switch to a hybrid-model. As I'm creating the characters and ships, I wanted to change the required skill for firing cannons to Boating, because we've decided the players can use either Shooting or Boating to fire them and most of them have a higher Boating-Skill.

Problem is, even when I create a new Weapon, it always dafaults to Shooting as the rquired Skill for a ranged weapon. Is there any way to manually override this?
