We skipped the game last week to give another week of development to patch the update. Here's a few notes on the experience tonight.
Token movement 1: As gm I could not move player tokens most of the time. It wasn't a terrain stacking issue, just the mouse refusing to grab the Token on a blank square.
Token movement 2: when I could grab a token to move it the player screen would not update with the changed position. I had to remove the Token from the map and then drag it back on from the CT to new spot.
Token movement 3: when approving multiple player movements at the same time the system really slowed to a crawl when they were all moving. Wasn't so sluggish in the past.
Character sheet tabs: I use the Mad Nomad Journal extension. Character sheets now open to that tab ( which is at the top for some reason) instead of the "main" tab in Savage Worlds. Didn't test other rule sets.
2.5 objects: if you grab an object at the wrong spot it moves the entire underlying map, even if the map is locked. The 2.5 images do not move, so then everything has to be done again.
2.5 objects: the entire interface just seems to be glitch and finicky. Looking forward to improvement here. My group ran away from an encounter just based on the detail of a door in 2.5 mode. Ton of potential here.
Mouse interaction: several players reported difficulty in getting the mouse to interact with tokens and objects-it was like the sweet spot to actually grab something had shrunk.
Party inventory tab in Savage Worlds: Did not distribute items to players when assigned on the sheet. Did distribute coins. Could only distribute via dropping onto character sheet inventory tab.
