One of my players had some massive graphics glitches with the new version of FGU. He is running Windows 11. This was on just one of the clients. No problems on host. Other clients working fine. Here are some screenshots and his logs. If it matters, we're running 5e ruleset. He had no problems 1.5 weeks ago.

I got such errors with faulty display cables and/or a a faulty graphic card in the past. Not sure if it is really FGU related.

Potentially, that could caused by outdated or the wrong video card drivers as well. I'd suggest updating the video card drivers first since its easy, but if that doesn't work - I agree with Mephisto - its likely bad hardware.

I don't think it's bad hardware. It might be, but look at the second image. Parts of the window is rendering perfectly, but its some of the FG sub-windows that are having the issue. Total guess, but maybe some of the sub-windows are using a different rendering protocol?
But yea, check the easy things first; reboot, update graphics driver, monitor cable, update FG, update all computer drivers. And then, even though I rarely think this is a good solution, try uninstalling FG, reboot, and reinstall.

Recent versions of FGU had some problems with memory leaks and there is the potential that the video card had some bad or overheating VRAM. A big tell would be if it happens in other software. Does that player have a dedicated video card or is it a laptop with an intergraded video card that uses system memory?

Thank you everyone for your help. I will look into all these suggestions.

This is a laptop he mostly uses for work so I'm assuming integrated video card but I'll see if I can get more info from him. As far as I know, he's had no other problems with anything else. Just FGU and only starting this week.
As I know this last update was mostly graphics engine related, I assumed it had something to do with that. I think updating the graphics driver is a great first step. I'll update this thread as new info comes in.

Update: We had another session yesterday. The player reinstalled FGU and his graphics drivers. BTW, he does have an integrated graphics card. He saw no change. Also of note: I asked if he played any other games on that laptop. He said yes and he has had no other problems with any other games.

How big are the image files in terms of dimensions? I'm wondering if the graphics card doesn't have the same memory/headroom as the other machines.

The first image attached in the post if of the Launcher screen. Is the user seeing this when the first launch Fantasy Grounds, or is this after running FGU and exiting to the Launcher? Thanks.

I wouldn't find it hard to believe that his computer has less headroom than the other clients. But he had been using Fantasy Grounds in this same campaign (with the same image files) for the last year without issues.
My image files vary, most of them are in the 2K to 4K range 75% webp's. This is the same campaign as my other post so you have a copy of my campaign folder now.

That pictures is from first running fantasy grounds, not after exiting a campaign. I'd be surprised if he knows how to exit a campaign without fully exiting Fantasy Grounds.

Hmm, strange. The launch screen is a completely different scene that only had a simple one button font change on it. None of the more advanced behaviors used in the session are used in the launch screen. (i.e. all standard Unity UI) So, since it was almost completely untouched, it's very odd that the launch screen would be affected by anything specific to v4.6.0.
There's a Force App Update in the Settings under the Support tab that could force the all the app files to update if it didn't for some reason. And they could try the Settings->Advanced tab to try the Prev build channel to toggle back and forth between Live/Prev to see if it's related to new version only on their machine.
It's just an odd issue, so not quite sure how to figure out what might be causing it.

This week, his problems were gone. He said he just ran a regular update. He said this time it actually took the time to download an new update. He said he did NOT do the force app update as I recommended. He told me last time it quickly went through the update bar and didn't seem like it was doing anything. Not sure if that means anything to you but I thought I'd let you know. Thanks for your help.
