Any chance this comes to Fantasy Grounds?

I am hoping the same thing. I am enjoying an awesome Adventures in Middle Earth campaign right now but if LoTR 5E TRPG came to FG then it would make life a lot easier on my DM which would be great! I don't want to lose my Wanderer but that's how things go sometimes.

We would love to bring this to FG. For now, it is not available on any other platforms. You can always contact the publisher to let them know that you would be interested as a customer for Fantasy Grounds. The IP holder would need to sign off on any new distribution channels, and they are unlikely to do so unless they sense there is strong demand for it.

Yea, Licensed IP is much harder to deal with for 3rd parties.

There is an ext that lets you play it already. You'll have to put the stuff in but that's pretty easy.

I get what you mean having it there would make things a lot smoother for the DM. While it’s not officially on FG yet, there’s a community extension that lets you play it. You’ll need to add the content manually, but it’s pretty easy to set up.

The LOTR IP might also be an exclusivity thing for DnD Beyond. WotC are obviously expanding their content offerings to bring more users in so that there are more varieties to offer in their product catalog.

Plus maybe it's a sign that the IP holders are realizing there's a difference from VTT's to video games. I know there have been games that grouped them together so that you'd need a different set of rights for vtts and video games than you'd need for rpg's and pdf's. It might just take someone reaching out to Free League to see. I've put in the corebook plus the Shire Adventures to use with the ext above and it works pretty slick.
