What is new "Summon" section in NPC records used for now?

I came across this while looking at 5E for ideas. Some of it seems obvious (I may be wrong) in inference but others I am not at all prepared to guess how used.

I do not own the 2024 5E so I cannot pullup any "summoned" beasts or "summoners", could someone screenshot examples of what this looks like working?

Here's an example.

Because summons gain modification to AC, HP, attack, DC; there is a section for "summon" type of creatures to let you easily change those settings based on the caster's stats as well as the spell slot level they choose to cast with.
