Hi,
it seems that i can not find the "Ambusher fighting style" in starfinder, when using a soldier. I see styles like: "Arcane Assilant", "Armor Storm", "Blitz", "Bombard", "Guard", "Hit-and-Run" and "Sharpshoot" but not "Ambusher" as stated on the "Characters Operations Manual" on page 19. I can, though, find the subsequent skills like "Vigilance" in the rulebook ingame itself but didn't find a way on how to access that one.
Is there a way i'm missing?
Best regards and thank you very much in advance! :)

Hello, I found it in the book. Is this what you were trying to find?
Look in the features.

Ah, yes, i found it there and was able to add it to the charcters sheet - but why isn't the option shown in the soldier's class window, where all(?) other fighting styles are shown too? If i'm not mistaken it works like that in other classes - there was an addition to the base class adding new features into them without the need to open the "book" ingame at all.

It has never worked that way. The core rulebook class does not have that option, therefore it is not in the list. It is only presented as an option from the book it is in.
There was an attempt to rebuild classes with all the features that slowed FG to a crawl, It was removed years ago for a more straight forward approach.

Strange, i thought i'd seen it like that in some other circumstances, but it seems as if i'm wrong, since i can not find any other skill, feat or so working like i mentioned.
In that case i'd like to make this a suggestion :)
Anyway - thank you for helping me with that, now i know better in the future :)
