Would it be possible for new (Inventory, Action) records to default to "2024" if the Rules Version is set to "2024"?
Even though I have my Rules Version set at "2024", every new record I create on character sheets defaults to "Legacy", forcing me to change it. It makes sense to me to set new records to default at whatever the Rules Version is set to.

I suspect that it should be defaulting to the record that you have set. So I've moved this to the House of Healing as a possible bug in the ruleset.

Thanks for reporting. This has to do with how the record is created (i.e. on the sheet vs. in the campaign). I'll have to see about handling the scenario for direct item adds on PCs (as well as party sheet and parcels).

Thanks, JPG! That would be great if the indicator would automatically match the Rules Version.
I create a lot of Actions and Items, and I use the 2024/Legacy indicator to identify what has been updated to comply with the 2024 changes and what hasn't. I always find myself forgetting to change it from the default "Legacy".

For the Tuesday update, I have an update queued to set the version of new items on the PC inventory, Parcel record, and Party Sheet inventory to match the Rules Version set in Options.
