Yesterday, in getting ready for a session I had pulled up the new Players Handbook and I wanted to share it with my players. After briefly shutting down FGU I came back, started it back up and there was and update ready. Did the update and now the name for the Players Handbook had changed.
Pre update, the new PHB said "Dungeons and Dragons" and the old one said "DnD". Very easy to tell apart, very easy to find. Now they BOTH say "DND" which means the new one is now completely indiscernible from the old one. Whereas you used to be able to tell the difference between the two.
I realize this is a tiny frustration but I don't understand the reasoning? You had a system that worked, then you intentionally broke it. I mean was there a huge demand for letter economy from the players?
And any thoughts on changing it back or adding "(2024)" to the description? Or some other way to discern it from the original? And please follow whatever format you land on with the other new books.
Thanks for reading.✌
