I am using PFrpg

I would love to be able to open multiple NPC windows at the same time, specifically each window being a single group. Example: If I have Bestiary 1 and an AP module loaded, I would like to have the Bestiary NPC list open in 1 window and the AP npc list open in a 2nd window.

Is this possible?

I assume that opening multiples of the same window has the chance of causing errors, but this would be 2 different lists that are "under" the NPC catagory.

No. Any window that is opened for the first time will open in the centre of the screen. Opening another NPC even in the same group will open another window. There may be an extension which allows you to open windows on top of one another but that's undesirable.

I think that @Morenu is talking about the full campaign lists. That's not something that we have looked at or even heard about; so maybe a feature request.

Or maybe the fact that every module has it's own NPC list in the module is already essentially the same thing? You could drag the NPC list from each of the modules in the Library->Modules list to a hot key for quick access.

It sounds to me, like you are wanting to open the entire listing of NPCs from two different modules. If this is what you are trying to accomplish, then "Good News". This is surprisingly easy to accomplish.

In the sidebar, find the Module tab, under Library. With the Module window open, you should see a listing of every module you currently have loaded.

In your example, Click the image for Beastiary 1 and you will see a listing of all included categories of content provided by the module. Click on the NPC listing for Beastiry 1. This opens an NPC window containing only the NPCs contained in the Module. Repeat the process with the AP module and you will have two seperate NPCs windows based only on the Modules you have selected.

Thanks all. Yes I want to be able to access the Bestiary NPC list while ALSO having another NPC list (like the AP or a newly created NPC group) and then drag directly from one to the other (copying say from the bestiary to the AP NPC list)

right now I am opening the Bestiary monster into its own "window" then switching the NPC group to the AP/group I want the monster added to, then dragging the record into the AP/group. 1 at a time. with many clicks in between.

I will try the suggestions. thanks

That did the trick! Thank you!

You can open the group list at the top of the NPC window and drag/drop from group with all the creatures to the title of the other group. Information in the FG Wiki here: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/996640928/Managing+Campaign+Data+-+Stories+Tables+Categories+etc.#Move-Items-To-a-Different-Group Although this will move the creature reference from the base product to the group, it won't make a copy of the record; whereas the method you're now using creates a copy unique to the campaign.
