Automatic Effects like Magic Resistance 5e (Legacy)

Hi,

I'm a DM of a legacy campaign and want to use some Archmages with Magic Resistance. I dragged them to the combat tracker but there was no automatic effect on this NPC. I assumed, that I couldn't see the effect and tested some saving throws against the NPC, but there was no advantages rolls. Then I added the effect 'Magic Resistance' by hand but still no advantages rolls. After this I changed to an other NPC with Magic Resistance - still no advantage rolls.
Then I tested the same with Gnome Cunning but still no advantage rolls.

Can someone tell me, why this effect isn't working anymore? Is it a result of the changes like the inverted logic to IF and IFT since last month? How can I get an effect like Magic Resistance or Gnome Cunning in this Version from now on?

P.S.: Is there any reason why I can't use effects like ATK: [PRF] or ATK: [LVL] or ATK: [-INT] or etc.?

This is working for me both for NPCs and PCs with the Magic Resistance effect. Are you using any extensions? Can you replicate in a new campaign without extensions?

As regards your PS this is also working for me. So again it could be an extension if it's not working for you.

Instead of effects automatically being created for NPCs when added to the combat tracker; their Trait names are now checked instead when a saving throw is made by them against a magic effect.
Were you seeing this not work automatically, or just missing the effect? (Also, the effect still works too, as Zacchaeus noted.)

The effects with the player tags ([PRF]/[INT]/etc.) are only resolved when the effect is applied from a PC sheet.

First of all: Thank you all for the fast answers.

I am not using any extensions :)

I was missing the effect written on the combat tracker under the NPC. Then I tested with some spells from my players PCs. Today I tested again with some other spells from another PC and I found the mistake. The first player had no checkmark on magic by his spells. I was doubled confused because of the missing effect text and this missing checkmark.

To my post scriptum: As you showed me, I can see that this syntax of effects with PRF and so on could be used from the players PC sheet. I used custom written effects before and dragged and dropped this effect on the players PC in the combat tracker or was writing the effect direct in the combat tracker under the PC. This was not working. Is it because the calculation in the background with "who dragged and dropped the effect to the PC or NPC"? Thanks for this clarification Moon Wizard
