Hello everyone!
A theme revamp was just released for the Pathfinder 2 ruleset. These updates are another step in our increased focus on Pathfinder support and deepening our collaboration with Paizo.

If you like the previous theme and would like to keep using it, you can grab it from the Forge here: https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/1952/view
Please report any issues you find that are visuals-related here in this thread and we'll get them addressed.
Good luck finding the path!
UPDATE:
Dark mode versions of the PF2 / SF2 themes are now available on the Forge as well!

Great work. The theme says Pathfinder to me and I really like it. But, its still a bit bright for my groups taste. We had settled on 'Legacy - Leather' theme for our sessions. If this new Pathfinder theme could adopt the subdued backgrounds for all the windows like in the 'Legacy - Leather' theme I think we would switch.

It won't take any cues from the leather theme, but a dark mode version of the new Pathfinder theme is in progress and will be available on the Forge soon.

Hey BadEye. The theme is really lovely, thanks so much. Two things that I have noticed while playing with it are:
1. The GM DC panel does not match the theme, it's just a grey box.

2. The Combat Tabletop List (toggling the player icons to be a mini-initiative tracker) doesn't have quite the same clean frame look as the default Party List.

Thanks again for your great work! My players and I really appreciate it.

I'm not 100% on what you mean by "grey box" here. The DC panel is using the normal window background color there that the other frames use, although I see you might want to do a right-click "reset" on the panel to make sure the boxes aren't leaping out of the edges there.

The combat list is something I'll be taking a look at more broadly in the short to mid term - there are some current limitations to it at the core level that limit some of the customization, but we will make improvements in the future.
Thanks!

That's a good tip about resetting the panel, I didn't realize I could resize it, I'll try that.
I didn't connect that it was the same background color as the other windows, so if that's as designed it's fine. I'll just put in my two cents of constructive feedback that it kind of sticks out a bit. I think it just comes down to the lack of any (noticable) frame or border. While the rest of the theme is a 10/10, I think that element appears a bit unfinished or placeholder.

This isn’t really about the theme but I wish there was a way to embed that DC in somewhere. It sticks out a bit and screen space is already quite valuable in FG.
In the right menu maybe? Above Tools there could be another collapsible category for it.
I do love the new theme tho! It looks very modern. Looking forward to its dark version

I would agree with Neovirtus here. While the GM box is technically a popup window, it feels, intuitively, like part of the desktop, like the dice tower is, and so it not matching well with the desktop colors is a bit jarring.

Right-click -> Close this will close the DC panel, to open it again click on the small "Open GM DC Panel" button that appeared when you closed the panel.
You can also right click on both the panel and the small open button, unlock and move their position.

I know the right click but it doesn't actually close, it minimizes. Same function with minimize on story and image entries etc. Don't know why Close is close on those but Close is "Minimize" on that panel.
And then the mini button gets lost among the NPC sheets and the map and the stories. I know I can move it too. The screen space is already not that big tho.
I don't know, it being meshed into the panel on the right would be awesome. I'll try moving it to there from now on. I'm guessing an interactive window cannot be placed into the button panel so my request is probably not even doable.

You need a way of opening the panel once you close it. So, yes, closing the panel causes a small button to appear on the desktop allowing you to re-open the DC panel.

Are you referring to a button oo open/close from the right sidebar? Or are you wanting the DC panel embedded in the right sidebar? If the latter, this goes against the whole design of the FG sidebar and is unlikely to happen unless that FG design philosophy changes.
If the former, then you can unlock and move the button to the sidebar, for example:

I think that what Husey and myself are feeling is largely based on the UX of that window. It feels out of place anywhere I put it. It needs a home. Sure you can unlock and move things around, but because it's kind of an awkward size compared to many other elements it never quite looks right. And the appearance of the panel doesn't help either. It's not like the combat tracker or the chat where they look like objects that are meant to stand on their own. It looks like a "child" window that should be a tooltip or something. I think you could either make it look like many of the other windows with a frame and such, or you integrate it into the "background" by making the background transparent and have it sit nicely in that bottom strip of the desktop with the green background along with the dice and modifier buttons.
Once again, really loving the new theme. This is just a minor gripe that I'm trying to figure out how to articulate.
Edit: maybe it would make sense to have a spot next to the Modifier window in the bottom left. Just a place to quickly write a DC. Then if you click on it, it pops out the full window we see now. I feel like these two elements occupy the same space for the GM: modifying rolls, and setting DC's. I think this would do what I tried to describe above, make the GM DC panel feel like an integrated part of the desktop in a logical way. I'll try to Photoshop together my idea later to see if it works and if others agree with the concept, or if I'm just crazy.

Definitely agree that embedding the DC window into the desktop in some way would be excellent. As long as it stayed in front of full-screen maps I wouldn't mind if other windows could occlude it.

Something like this is what I'm envisioning. The green arrow or similar could be used to hide/show the larger panel with the full options. Obviously I'm no graphic designer, but something like this might help integrate the GM DC panel into the virtual desktop a bit more.

My groups are enjoying the new theme. One thing I noticed is that the font used for Story headings (the all caps font in the title bar and the heading text) does not support the action special characters. Also, it would be nice if the uncapitalized characters in that text were shown in a slightly smaller font (small caps). I do see that Paizo makes use of that look in their headings, so it would not clash with the theme.

That looks soooo good. I don't know how the popped up window would look but this is a great point to start the concept of integrating it more.

Would love some small caps too. Don't know off the top of my head how the I ı İ i letters look right now

The font for those headers is actually already small caps like Paizo uses, though the Taroca font has less drastic differences between large and small caps and the baseline looks like it's slightly off for the font. I'll see about adjusting the baseline.

I'll edit the original post for visibility, but heads up that dark mode versions of both the Pathfinder 2e and Starfinder 2e themes are now available for free on the Forge.

I think this is a good idea. No promises if/when something like this will be created, but thanks for putting this mock-up together.

They gray colored system pop-ups (for example when you click a link) show no text. There was a thread about it but I wanted to ask here again. Is that a theme thing or no?

Assuming you're running on a Mac, then it's not a theme issue and it's a Mac issue which the devs haven't managed to get to the bottom of yet.

I'm still having problems with Action symbols and frankly without knowing the action cost it's pretty much impossible to run any monster (unless you know them by heart). Sure the weapon Strike is 1 action I can guess that but there are lots of features creatures have that can be 2 actions or Reactions etc.
Is this a theme problem or a problem on my side?

I can see action symbols within NPC records fine using the standard PF2 theme - i.e. no theme selected (see screenshot below).
What theme are you running?
Please provide specific information regarding where you're having problems so we can see if we can recreate the exact issue you're having.

There's not a quick way - you need to exit the campaign and change which extensions are enabled then load the campaign.
Any issues are probably going to be caused by a theme and/or a font extensions. You should only have a maximum of one theme enabled, so try this first (disable any themes).

Okay I fixed it. Indeed it was an extension problem.
I had to scroll down and voila I had a font extension turned on. Must have misclicked from some other thing.
