I searched and searched and didn't find anything so it may not be possible but I'll ask anyway.

I'm using the Starfinder Rules to attempt a Star Trek style campaign and one of the main weapon features is the stun setting.

Is there anyway to code a ranged weapon that forces a DC 15 Fortitude save and does minimal damage?

Thanks in advance for your time.

You would be best to ask in the Starfinder forum

@darkwoulfe ... IDK the star trek content, but using SF1 rules "set to stun" would simply turn the damage into NON-LETHAL (NL) with a Crit effect of "stun" ... so it is inline with other Starfinder gear, the crit effect only occurs on a "critical hit" and the DC is 10 + *1/2 item level) + (relevant stat of attacker). That can be coded under damage simply as "2d4 NL; stun", but you may want to create it as a "spell effect" so you can have a button to attack and another to force the DC roll.
