I am seeing an issue with Darkvision being applied automatically to player tokens.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Choose a map with Line of Sight obstructions and NO ambient lighting.
2. Build a dwarf using the character creator and adding to the party.
3. Add dwarf party member token to the map. Notice that he cannot see anything except actual light sources.

4. Manually assign dark vision to dwarf token and now the dwarf player can see in monochrome as expected.

It seems that if you add the player token from the Combat Tracker instead of the Party Sheet, the lighting works correctly. I am not sure if this is intentional behavior or not.

I moved your post here since it's not relevant to the bugs thread which is more for bugs in modules.

I'm not seeing this issue. When you build your dwarf character do you see Darkvision 60 under the Senses heading on the first page of the character sheet? And are you adding the token to the map via the Combat Tracker?

Right, yes. Tokens must be added to the map via the Combat Tracker for stuff to work.

Edit: Actually it works if you drag from the Party Sheet as well - I just tested that.

When and if you are the GM, you must select a given token in which you wish to check or see what they are seeing. The combat tracker does not advance or change the token's current view, so the GM has to click or select a given token to update to the current actor's vision on a map with LoS and lighting enabled. Players don't normally have this issue unless they are playing more than one character.

Thanks for the information! I'll try to replicate this and I'll follow up tomorrow.
