I got the following error when I tried to delay a turn in combat.

Which extension are you using for the Delay?

Extension - Universal Module.

I am unable to reproduce this with no extensions. My suggestion would be to try w/o the one mentioned and see?

You are correct it is the extension that is causing this.

I realized I can't pause turn without it.

All that Universal Modules does is allow you to open modules from other rulesets. There is no Lua and no code that affects any campaign elements.
