I just bought Fantasy Grounds II, and I'm wondering about the Complete SRD set that is sold separately. Why do I need it? Isn't the SRD already in FG II?

The SRD contained in FGII is the basic SRD and has not been updated since it's initial release. The CSRD on the other hand contains a wealth of information that has been added to the SRD over the years (Epic SRD content, Psionic SRD, additional Divine stuff etc)

IMHO it is well worth the outlay for said additions as long as you intend to continue playing 3.5 as your main game when 4E comes along. If you plan to change then you may want to wait and see what the new SRD is like.
