Is there a way to preserve token height and line of sight for tokens on a map when changing the token for the actor in the CT?

Example:

An NPC Nycaloth flying at 80' turns invisible. I change it's token (manually) to the invisible version by dragging from Assets to it's CT entry. This resets the height and LOS for the token on the map.

Is there any way around this?

Is there any way (with or without extensions) to automate changing the token when the invisible condition is applied/removed?

There’s no capability to preserve token information when swapping tokens at this time.

Tokens aren’t changed by default when setting the Invisible condition. Usually, you can just hide the creature in the combat tracker, which will also hide on the map.

That's what I figured. Thank you for the reply...

At this point some of the party can see invisibility with some regularity and some can't, so it is beneficial to have the visual reminder of a token that looks ghostly/semi transparent to keep everyone on the same page when there is a lot going on in combat.
