STA 2e Plans?

So I'll kick off the inevitable question about STA going forward, given that 2e has officially been released.

Also how are purchasers of 1e for FGU affected?

2e is backwards compatible and according to the PR rep from Modiphius there is no plan to update the 1e splash books to 2e. I imagine this means no change would be necessary?

Was thinking more about the core rule structure - not using challenge dice, for example.
