Vismax not working properly?

I have VISMAX:5 effect set on a token it seems to set it correctly around the token, but the lights in the room are still visible?

Is that screenshot the actual player view from another player instance or is that the pseudo player view from the GM side? If the latter, the pseudo player view shows light sources, it doesn't give a 100% accurate representation of what the players see. I believe this is by design, but I can't find the post from cpinder regarding this.
