Going AFK as GM Works, but Logs GM in as a Player

I did not realize that going afk as the GM was supposed to be impossible, so like a dork, I tried to go afk as the GM by using /afk.

It worked. Sort of. It added my user name "Netjera" as a logged-in player, and then marked me afk. Instead of marking the GM as afk. So.. weird.. but I thought acceptable. I went afk, returned, and came back. Used /afk to toggle it off, but the "Netjera" player did not go away. I tried kicking her, and she *still* will not go away, lol.

Any thoughts on how to get rid of her?

Sounds like a bug to me. Give it a few days and if we don't hear a better answer or one of the devs responds that they have taken note of it, then we can submit a help ticket.

Thanks! I did exit out and back in, and the extra character went away, but it was annoying in the middle of my session, lol. My players were like, "Uhhh who is Netjera?" >.> <.<

Going AFK as the GM would be a very good thing.

I would want it to be a toggle and not the automatic indicator of no actions for X amount of time.

When I go AFK as GM I say I am going AFK ;)

But then when ten minutes have gone by and the chat has scrolled up several pages it would be nice to have an indicator to the players that I am still not paying attention.

Being entirely text based we get a LOT of chat in an evening. Typically somewhere between 1,800 to 2,500 lines of chat per session.
