It seems that the FLICKER on lighting has stopped working. I adjusted several settings to no avail, even though I have used it in the past. Finally, to make sure that lighting itself was working I put in one torch with a PULSE effect, which works perfectly. And so now Im really confused because I cant figure out why PULSE would work but a preset TORCH would not?

Maybe some sort of conflict with ambient lighting that wont let me see the torch? Beats me....Im confused.

I'm not seeing any issues with the flicker effect locally. Can you turn off your ambient lighting and see if that affects it? Thanks.

The default flicker has never been particularly obvious so it may depend on what you've set it at. But it's certainly there as you can see more clearly when cranked up to 100%. As @pindercarl says switching off ambient lighting will also help since that washes out the light unless it's in an area that isn't lit by the ambient light.
