Bard and Ranger for Shadowdark

Thanks for the work on the ruleset, it looks great! Are there plans to release the Bard and Ranger classes for Shadowdark at some point?

We are only converting official content. However, I heard they will come out in a future Cursed Scroll 'zine. If that happens, then we will convert them.

Would I be able to post classes, items and other things that I create for a game without permission from the IP holder of the game system? Not overly familiar with how this stuff works.

Also note that you need an attribution statement. There is an example on that webpage.

Hi, any news about adding the bard and ranger to the Shadowdark module?

I doubt he can or will publish those versions of the Bard and Ranger as their final versions will be in one of the upcoming Cursed Scrolls (later this year???). He has stated elsewhere that once those are available, and he gets permission, he will be porting those over to FG.

The official and final version of the Bard and Ranger already exists as a supplement, as I mentioned in a previous post. I also pointed out that it can even be found for free on shadowdarklings.com, which is why @spoofer was going to reach out to Arcane Library.

Here is a screenshot of the cover with the official signature of the Arcane Library publisher. Nowhere does it indicate that it is an alpha or beta version.

Edit: I went to check the Arcane Library Discord, and I think you are right. Apparently, the final version will be released in a Cursed Scroll. Since the document on shadowdarklings.com didn’t indicate that it was a beta or test version, I assumed it was the final version. I apologize for the confusion.

Each zine will have at least one new class, but we will also see the final print of the ranger in CS 4 and the bard in CS 6!

Oh, yeah. Sorry. I forgot to post. Yes, I heard back. I was told that the contents have changed from the original KS, and please wait a bit longer. A new KS will start soon (next month?) for three new Cursed Scroll products. The revised classes are in there.
