Syncing FGU contentfrom HumbleBundle with Steam and/or Paizo; Need License keys

Howdy!

I just purchased the Pathfinder's Finest Humble Bundle. I went through, unlocked the content I needed to unlock (through the fantasygrounds.com key activation process), and updated my FGU software to reflect the new content.

The issue I'm having, though, is that there doesn't seem to be a way to have those purchases reflected in Steam. I searched around, and saw many versions of "How do I sync my FGU purchases made on steam?", which isn't quite what I'm looking for (Steam > FGU); I'm looking for "How do I add FGU content to my Steam account?" (FGU > Steam).

I seemed to find the answer in this forum post (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?78956-How-to-Activate-on-Steam&highlight=getting+steam+keys). I attempted to follow the steps another user linked to as an answer (https://steamcommunity.com/app/1196310/discussions/0/2945872608892325681/):


If you got Fantasy Grounds Unity through Kickstarter or outside of Steam, you can add it to your Steam account by doing the following steps in Steam:

Choose the menu option for Game > Activate a Product
Paste in your license key from the Fantasy Grounds website (found under Store > Order History)

When I did that, I clicked on the Order ID for a couple of my Humble Bundle Purchases (Pathfinder 2 RPG - Abomination Vaults and Pathfinder 2 RPG - Beginner Box, specifically), which opened a new 'order detail' web page for those particular items. There was a section for "Licenses for Order", but "No license keys for this order" is what appeared, instead of a license key.

Is there any way to generate license keys for my paid-for content that does not already have one, so that I can sync my purchases between the platforms I purchase from (fantasygrounds.com, Steam, Paizo.com, HumbleBundle.com)?

As far as I know unless you buy via Steam there isn’t a way to have that DLC listed as purchases on Steam. You can activate licences on Steam but there isn’t the same for DLC. Your purchases will appear in your order history in the store dropdown however.

As mentioned by Zacchaeus, you can't synch purchases to Steam from FG as Steam doesn't have a mechanism to do this (other than a very labor-intensive manual process that would be impossible to implement for the volume of FG DLC purchases).

At one time SmiteWorks used to manually update everything to Steam twice a year or so. I'm guessing that became too much effort both for SmiteWorks and Steam to continue with it? Or perhaps it went away when they created the way to automatically link/register licenses?

Still a manual process that gets done about every 3-4 weeks.

They never did this for purchases, they only do the FG licenses to allow someone who bought a license in the FG store to purchase DLC from Steam.
