Hello everyone, I'm kind of a newbie in that I tried classic years ago - but didn't really get it. I've only recently come back with an interest in Unity and much more experience with VTTs in general.
I normally run an odd mish-mash of indie OSR materials, and I'm hoping to build a digital experience that is as close to that as I can muster. Originally I planned to take the AD&D 2e ruleset and build a custom library of content with my various tweaks and such built into it.
My ideal approach would be making a few things, playtesting it, then adding onto it over time. However I've heard it's generally a bad idea to "play" with a campaign meant as a system reference module. Thus I was hoping for some clarification on best practices/etc.
