Extension: Wealth Die

I created an extension for those of you who use the Wealth alternate rule.

The SW Wealth Die extension adds a wealth die to the character.
The contents of the Currency section in the Inventory tab is replaced with a wealth die.
This wealth die behaves like Skill and Attribute dice. You can add bonuses and penalties, change the wild die, boost and lower it, double click to roll it, and use ctrl + mouse wheel to change it.
The Currency section label is changed to Wealth.

You can also use effects to alter it.
[Wealth +1d]
increases Wealth by one die type when rolled.
[Wealth +1]
adds one to the Wealth roll.
[Wealth -2]
applies a -2 penalty to Wealth rolls.

Of course you do this after I just added a Wealth Die skill to all my player character sheets.

Any thoughts on adding this to Savage Worlds Pathfinder Edition?

My thought was not to, since Pathfinder follows the D&D / Pathfinder practice of counting coins.
Seems my assumption that it wouldn't be used in Pathfinder was off, so I added support for SWADE Pathfinder.
I guess I made an a$$ of Ume. Sorry, Ume.
I posted that to the Forge. It should be approved on Monday.

You rock Mike. I really like the simplicty of a wealth die! I never really thought about it before but my players enjoy the quickness of it... less accounting is always a plus ion my book!

I just submitted version 1.03 to the Forge.
It now also replaces the "coins carried by" section on the inventory tab of the party sheet with a list of characters' wealth dice.

Upcoming Version 1.04 and Deprecation

The wealth die extension is being deprecated with the upcoming version 1.04.
The wealth die will be part of the SWADE ruleset as of the big April 2025 update release, so this extension will no longer be needed after that.
The big April update release should be on or soon after April 22.
If you use this extension, keep it enabled after the April release and it will convert the extension format to the new ruleset format and turn on the wealth die setting option. After that you can remove the extension.
You'll see a notification in chat when you start the session telling you the extension is deprecated.
You won't notice any difference on the character sheet. All the data will be there, all the same.
You can check the conversion in the console log to be sure.
Post to this thread if you have any problems with it.
