Hi Folks,
I've run into something I just noticed which could just be the way the monsters are 'coded'. When using a 'clean' campaign with no extensions with monsters from the Monster Manual, the recharge function does not work for some. I noticed it for those Dragons that had multiple breath weapons where there is a separate line indicating "Breath Weapon Recharge (5-6)" as a separate line item and then the listing of the two breath weapons with no recharge showing. When I add the "Recharge (5-6) after the individual Breath Weapons, it does work. It looks in the first case the recharge option does not appear in the CT when the breath weapon is used with the recharge as a separate entry on the creature but if the recharge is individually listed on the specific ability, it does work. I've attached an image that hopefully illustrates what I am talking about. Am I missing something here?

Manuals text definitions vs FGU compatibility is always an issue. If its an FGU set of data report it as a bug - if its a 3rd party set of data - report it to them.

I'm not exactly sure now but this may have been because of the way that the module was originally constructed (using par5e). I think that it wouldn't properly pick up both recharges correctly and so the actions didn't parse correctly. I added the Extra Breath Weapons (Recharge 5-6) line so that you'd have the recharge on the CT. Another consideration is that the recharge refers to the breath weapon no matter which version is used. So if you added the recharge to both options then only the one you used would get the [USED] effect on the CT. So I think that it's worded this way because of a number of factors; but if you double click on the [R5] or whatever on the CT it will add the [USED] effect and will roll the recharge when the Dragon's turn comes around.

Thanks Zacchaeus for this but I'm not totally following it. I do get what you said that they shouldn't get the second option as recharged once the first is used (or vice versa). The [R5] wasn't showing in the CT for Wyrmling 2 when used and thus, for Wyrmling 2, it wasn't triggering a recharge roll at all when either breath weapon was used. At this point, I then added the Recharge 5-6 to the monster record and it did get it to roll the recharge. I'm not sure what I'm doing incorrectly here (if at all).

I'm not sure either. I just added two Wyrmlings to the CT and both show the Breath Weapons [R5] on the CT. and when double clicked both get the [RCHG: 5 Breath Weapons]. If you don't double click the R5 on the CT then you won't get a recharge event firing off either of the breath weapons on any of the NPCs. But you will get it to work if you've manually added the recharge to each of the breath weapons (in which case you don't need to double click the [R5]).
One other thing, the recharge won't work at all from the NPC sheet unless you edit the two breath weapons to include the recharge on each weapon

Ahhh - OK. I'm being stupid. I didn't realize that in that setup with 2 breath weapons, I would need to click on the [R5] and wouldn't be triggered by simply using one of the breath weapons. That would explain it! Ironically, this wasn't the issue I was looking into around getting the recharge to always roll twice (which I'm guessing is an extension thing going on). Thanks for walking me through this and sorry about the confusion.
