View Full Version : BSG Sewer Map Pack Errors

getting an odd error. I don't think I got it last night Monday May 27th when I was running the game. I came in to do some prep work for next game and I am seeing this error. Tuesday may 28th.it is possible that it appeared early and I just ignored it because I was short on time getting game ready.

I did have the black scrolls sewer map pack loaded. I unloaded it and the error persists.


Any ideas?

The bsg is not in the list of my loaded modules. I checked through my modules tried to compare. I looked through the FG GUI and didn't see it (after I unloaded it)

If there is more information or if you would like to get on a Discord stream to see it. that would be fine.

MOD: Moved to support channel as it is not specific to the Mutants and Masterminds ruleset. I'm not familiar with the product. Can you provide me a link to it?

I think this is the map pack. I think I had purchased it before it was given free to everyone on FG store. That might be the issue.

The Black Scrolls Sewer Map Pack is just an asset pack for map tiles.

It should be in your assets under BSG Sewer Map Pack.

Indeed. I did have a module loaded. It is currently an asset. These are the two files that are blank in my asset directory.

When I look at ASSETs, they are blank. How can I fix it?

Unload the module and just use the asset folder. Those files are not in the final product. We will look at removing the module references so this won’t occur in the future if someone does choose to load it as a module.

I did unload the module. That was the first thing that I did. The error persists. I updated. The error is still there. (takes a few minutes for 467 purchases and 567 forge items to check for updates :P )

Can you try looking in your campaign for a moduledb folder and then remove the file for AAWFGANYSMP.xml?

Any other suggestions. i really don't want to do a new campaign. I have been running this one for a few years and have lots of notes/links/stories/all kinds of stuff setup in it.

Note: It's looking for jpg. Were those transitioned to the new format? If so they should just be able to backup their current campaign and then search the xml for .jpg and change right?

Can you zip up your campaign and PM me a link to it in Google Drive, Dropbox, or something similar?

The goal would be to find the references to the files that don’t exist anymore and remove them.

umm there is an issue. I have lots of images that I have gathered and purchased. The zip is over 12 GB. I certainly don't have any common space to upload that to. I will work on fixing it this evening. I will look for references with a search and if that fails. I will just go ahead and put some dummy files there to get away from the error popping up. I will update with what I find and work out.

Remove the images from the ZIP file. We won't need those to troubleshoot your issue.

here the file is attached. I do have another question. i was planning on building the next encounters and all today. I haven't looked at the DB.xml file at all. Would you updating the XML and giving it back remove any work I am doing today (creating stories/maps/encounters/Notes)?

You can probably fix it yourself - delete the following images from your campaign images list:

collage.jpg@Sewer Map
sewer_mini.jpg@Sewer Map


As an aside, you have 19,000 image records created in this campaign, most of which are references to images contained in modules external to the campaign. You don't need to do this - all of these will be accessible to you via the Assets window, which will allow you to use them in creating maps and adding to existing maps. Having 19,000 image records created in your campaign, even if they are just referencing images in external modules, is going to have a performance impact on your FG sessions.

I have a fast computer with nice SSD's.

I assume I didn't do anything for registering the images. This was the old method that FG registered images? this campaign is a few years old. My dnd campaign is just over a year old.

I cleaned those out of the DB.XML and file and it cleared up the issue. Curious how the issue happened. I have way too many images and mods and ext... I have about 2k mods in mod directory and 300 extensions (not all loaded at once) I will clean up my DND campaign also. thanks for all the assistance.
