20th Anniversary Event - Sale and Freebies

Thanks for everyone who has been a part of our community throughout 20 years of existence. Yes, that is right. Fantasy Grounds first came into existence back in 2004 and according to my math, that is 20 years. I bought my first license of FG in 2008 and then purchased the company in 2009. John joined as my business partner in January 2010. It's my 15 year anniversary.

To celebrate this event, we are doing a massive sale on licenses. $20 for Standard and $50 for Ultimate. The upgrade is only $30.

In addition, we are giving away various products to people who have licenses. I will update the list as we add the gifts, but here is the list so far:

I just bought my license for the sale. Are the birthday celebration dice packs only for the veterans?

If you get it during the sale, you will get all the freebies. I have to manually add it to accounts, so you will get any freebies you missed when I give out new freebies, and then again when I do a sweep at the end of the sale. There might be a brief delay before they hit your account, depending on when you pick it up.

Congratulations on 20 years.

Honestly, I cannot believe it... feels like only yesterday we were playing using the text chat, including the chat commands (like emoting)... now, some still play using text, but the majority are using some voice chat... and the automation in the rulesets is beyond our wildest dreams back then...

I'm glad to have been a member of this community for so long. Thanks for so many great games to all those community members I've played with. Looking forward to some great games to all those community members I have not yet had the privilege of joining for a session or two.

You just need to run an update.

You have to have a license. Free accounts do not get these. Then you need to run an Update.

When was the last time you updated before this?

You should have the extra dice in FGU (they don't need to download), the AAW Sewer Map module and SWADE rules.

If you have a FG licence you should get it, doesn't matter who bought it. I think Doug monitors this thread so he will spot this but maybe there are a lot of freebies going out. You could also ask in FG Discord. I bought my brother FGU and they made sure he got the freebies added.

Your account won't get the freebie upgrades because your account does not have the FGU license as part of the account. You can ask the account holder that owns the Ultimate license if they can contact support to get it transferred to your account and grant you the freebies for it as well. If the original account still has their own license for FGU and you now also have one, then you will both get the freebies.
