Details of your scenario: It's 351 AC group of adventurers is traveling to the small town of Vogler, on the Solomnian border to pay their final respects to their mutual friend, Ispin Greenshield. Rumors spread of an army conquering territories in Ansalan. However, none have been confirmed in this region.
