Just wondering if this masterforge has reached out to Smiteworks for FGU support on this new Kickstarter ? Foundry and Roll20 are listed in the FAQ but not Fantasy Grounds - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kingdomoftiradom/master-of-realmstm
From the FAQ -
What VTT platforms is Master of Realms compatible with?
We are currently compatible with Foundry VTT, Roll20, and other VTT platforms as long as they provide support for integration.

That program looks awesome. WOuld be nice if integration is possible, but I believe you can make 2d maps through that program to use in any VTT.

I also am not so sure on the strengths of hex based map grids in Fantasy Grounds, it's been rather iffy, even with FG classic.

The only issues I've had:
1- has to do with token placement (can only be centered on the hex and not the borders, i've put in a request to implement).
2- The other issue was placing hex images to make hex maps. I think that is mostly on the creators of the assets as they pretty much all have a border on each hex so you can't line them up correctly with FG hex overlay. But, I've had the same issue with the square grids on maps that already have a grid on them. Some of them are nearly impossible to line up through the whole map.

Looks underwhelming and nothing that campaign cartographer cant do....except the STL 3d printing which will be niche at best

What does VTT integration mean? If they are just providing .vtt export of their maps to 2D, then they already have integration to FG. If they are exporting jpg/png/webp/webm (8) then again, they already have integration with FG.
Assuming integration means being able to export a file from this and import it to FG.

The problem imo with things like this Master of Realms is available assets and styles. Right now they only have one style of map making. Which is cool, but extremely limited. Why I love CC3+ is that their are dozens and dozens of styles, plus you can alter those slightly very easily or if you are ambitious make completely new styles. CC3+ is still such a powerful tool, even given it's architecture limitations.

Good Day All :)
Looks like a Dungeon Alchemist except for larger areas? Minus the 3D printing which, as was said by gaara6666, seems like a niche crowd and very not useful for the VTT community.
Still pretty cool for building large open areas for you campaign if you are creating from scratch. :)

Master of Realms I believe does have 3D printing. The kickstarter shows 3d printed models of individual hexes if I remember correctly. Not that I do 3D printing, would be bad for my health anyway, being in a small apartment and not enough ventilation, unless I did it on the balcony, lol.

Your local library can 3D print things for you also.

Pretty sure it depends upon the library. But its a great idea to look into!
