Savage pathfinder and Fantasy companion

Id like to incorporate some of the elements from the Fantasy companion into Savage Pathfinder (mostly the huge amount of magic items). However, since they are "Technically" two different rule systems, I cannot open up the Companion in my Savage pathfinder game. Is there a way to do so?
