I found a flaw in the new quick map feature.

It turns out some map backgrounds don't make good quick maps. To show you what I mean, I attached an image of a quick map I made from one of the backgrounds in the Desert Map Pack.

That's correct. Not all assets are created equal for the feature. Some might not be a good choice for maps as the map wont' look well. I suggest searching for 'fill' in your assets as those tend to be great and work well with the feature.
