Good morning,
I would like to translate the ruleset and the "AD&D 2E Players Handbook" bought from the store, in italian.
I have it in the library in game, but I can't find it in modules folder.
Does anybody know where I can find it, on my pc?
Also, there's a way to add to the 2E ruleset the dear old minis for the sheet character?
Thanks in advance

Most store purchases are protected and cannot be edited or modified externally. Most rules are locked in the Reference manual section as well due to copyright and such. You might be better off finding a different solution.

So I have to leave FG to play D&D Beyond 5E?

Not necessarily, but maybe.
First, be aware that even if you translate the book in FG, a lot of FG automation is based upon the exact language used, so translating everything will break that automation. That being said, I'm not sure that is the case for the D&D Classic ruleset and you should ask in that sub-forum.
Now, you can not open the PHB outside of FG, but you can open the module in a FG "Development Campaign" (which is just an FG campaign you use to build a module). In that campaign, you can copy the objects (stories, classes, items, etc) that you want to translate and then open and edit the items. Then you can export those changes to a module and have your players load that.
If you want to translate the character sheet, that is going to require coding an extension or a new ruleset.
Finally, their used to be an active community project to translate FG into other languages. But it has not had a volunteer leader for some years. You may find useful the forum thread for it; LanguagePak (LPak) Community Project/Program (fantasygrounds.com) (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?27202-LanguagePak-(LPak)-Community-Project-Program)

Thank you LordEntrails, I tried 5e before but I didn't fall in love like the 2e :(
About the "Development Mode", this is what I'm doing right now. I can't copy directly the text of, for example, a class, but I can translate and write it manually.
For what concerne the automatism, I don't think there's a way to let them work it with the translated module, we will use the original and, in case of a spell or equipment, we will simply change the name in the sheets.
About the character sheets, a lot of item and section missing in 2e.pak. Maybe I have to translate other ruleset, like CoreRPG?

You'll have to ask on the Classic sub or investigate further about what needs to be translated. Pretty sure 2E is a child of CoreRPG, so yes their may be translation needed there. But it also might also be a child of Classic and you would have to translate that too. i.e. CoreRPG > Classic (1E?) > 2E

I see, 2e have strings in common with 5e... thank you damned
And also thanks for the file, but I know how to modify them :P
Anyway, no one knows about the minis of the char sheets? They were sooooo helpful in FGC
