I run a 2E DND campaign and the combat tracker is not ticking down the duration of spells and effects.
Anyone else having this problem?

This is working for me. Have you tested in a new campaign without any extensions?

No I have not but this only started recently (within the past few months) and haven't worried about it until now as the PCs are gaining in level and have more things that have durations.
I can see if some homebrew spells won't count down but even effects like "unconscioius" or "coma" remain even after the PC has been healed to full.

As this can't be reproduced this is more than likely caused by an extension you're running. First step, as mentioned by Zacchaeus, is to try in a brand new campaign without any extensions to see if this is an issue with extensions you're running in the campaign with the issue or if it's an issue with your base 2E install.

Does the rule set reroll initiatives every round?

I have noticed this as a Player. The Effect only shows the original duration, D (xx), when you hover over the effect in the CT. It does not visibly count down but duration does seem to expire after the correct amount of rounds pass. When I GM games, the duration has its own "field" in the CT and counts down.

Thanks for making me not feel like i'm crazy for this. I'll keep an eye on that "when it's gone" thing. Much appreciated
