If you create copies of said entries, organize them into your own categories and then export as a module yes.

I presume he does, yes.

You only need to make copies before exporting to a module if the base record type was from another module - as you can't export directly from one module to another, only export campaign data. If your data is already in the campaign (i.e. you created a new record in that campaign and filled out the data) you don't need to copy before exporting.
