Is there a ruleset out yet for WFRP 1e?
Is there anywhere I can get a file to run games for 1st edition?
Thanks

I've seen community rulesets for WFRP 2E and WFRP 4E on the forums in the past. I haven't seen anybody do anything with WFRP 1E.

Is there any way to alter the character sheet on the 2e skin?
If you could do that and add a D6, D8 and D4 dice for damage, bombs and fire damage it would be usable.
Thanks

Yes, it will require you to right an extension to an existing ruleset to do that.
But, may I suggest you just create a character sheet using CoreRPG or the community XCore rulesets. You really don't need a system specific ruleset to play a game with a system on FG.

How do I do that? Is it complicated?

It's very simple actually, especially if you try with XCore:
get the extension here: https://forge.fantasygrounds.com/shop/items/984/view
Then follow these instructions: https://diehard-gaming.com/xcore/
Given the nature of WFRP1e you should be able to spin up character sheets in just a few minutes.

Writing an extension is complicated. Using XCore or CoreRPG is not. Try XCore per Lo Zeno's links and let us know if you have questions.

I have downloaded XCore and some fonts.
The main characteristics block is locked (the ones that are attached to the ruleset links). Is there any way I can put in more stat blocks for the character sheet? There are only about 8 spaces available and I need 14.
M WS BS S T W I A LD DEX INT CL WP FEL
I have looked at the WFRP2 ruleset and as I understand it, it is using CoreRPG as the starting point from which that character sheet was created. Somebody created that stat block somehow? When I open CoreRPG however, it does not allow me to alter the character sheet in any way.
Is there a way I can get into that and manipulate it to the way I want it?
Thanks
Luke

Don't put all 14 characteristics in Core stats section: put only W (wounds) in there, where Health is (rename Health to Wounds), and I (Initiative) where Init is.. The other 12, put them in the Attributes section where you can put as many as you want.
The Career's Skills, put them under Secondary Skills, and under Primary skills put your weapons with damage

Here's a quick example of how to setup the characteristics, on the right how to set up the rollable ones (WS, BS and all those with values ranging 01-100%)

I would leave Health as Health or HP or whatever it is called in WFRP. The top stats matter most because several of them are linked in the Combat Tracker.
All your attributes and Skills etc go in the other sections.

Here's the fun part (not): Health in WFRP is called W, for Wounds.

Thanks everyone, you have been very helpful!
Now all I have to do is figure out how you get sound on FG.
I presume people still use Discord?
I see there is a place for using sound files. I also have Syrinscape. All that seems a bit complicated.

Fantasy Grounds does not play sounds: if you have Syrinscape, I'd just use that if I were you. There is some Syrinscape integration in FGU, but what it does is trigger sounds that then play through the Syrinscape web player, so your players still need to keep the web player open together with FGU. It's simple to set up, but might require a bit of time since there are no pre-made packs of sound links for Warhammer.
