Having an issue with the character wizard where when I select a 3rd level subclass it still gives me a warning that something is missing even though I have no more options. It's very annoying and I'm unsure what the problem is.

Did you build this character from level one up to three, or did you jump and build straight to level three? I ask because I ran into the same issue with a cleric build. Select your school or specialization at level one and then save or commit. Build the PC level by level incrementally. If you want to build straight up to a certain level and not go through the progress of each level, the drag and drop leveling is better for that.

It would be best to provide the warning you are receiving and provide exact steps in replicating the issue. It helps in finding the cause of the issue.

If you skip passed the archetype selection, you have no way to go back and edit or fix the error. You get locked out. I made a cleric, level three. The class section would not let me go back and select my domain. A wizard has a similar specialization path at level one too. If you skip that level and go to a different level to start, you get locked out to fix or select the options. And you cannot progress to save the character either. There is no console error, you just can't select and save your choices, you get the red exclamation warning but no options to edit or commit.

Build a wizard or a cleric. Select level three when class options come up, do the rest of your choices and you get locked out. If you select level one and build in steps, it works.

I'm not seeing that issue with the current build I'm on. I did as you said, I leveled the character to level 5 before choosing a domain and was still able to select it. I was able to also remove the domain and choose another. If you don't choose a specialization and you commit, then level up passed the level of selection, then yes, you will need to manually make the selection to the character sheet. This can be done with drag and drop to the class section. The level up wizard portion will only provide the features for that level as you level up.

I'm not seeing this either. I am on the Test server however so that may be the difference. But as you can see everything is green here but I can still pick a Domain and proficiencies etc even though I started at level 3.

Edit: OK attachments not working so you'll just have to imagine the graphic :D

Here is a recorded example of getting locked out.
I have the video to show my progress. I could not commit the specialization, and of course ONLY during a live video does this type of issue ever happen.

Here is where I start to realize something is off.

Went back through to see what is/was wrong.

Perhaps certain build paths might require or function only with a 1st level specialization selection path, or fail upon skipping levels.

I'm still not seeing it with the TEST build I have. Also this build has a fix for the warnings to be removed when making selections as well. So I'll see about pushing it with the rest of the weekly updates if 5E is not locked down.
