Summary: 3 new players (demo license users) trying to connect to my campaign (Ultimate license user). After creating an account, downloading and installing FGU, and updating, they get stuck on "attempting resolved connection" when trying to join. After several re-attempts, for maybe 5-15 minutes, one by one, they get in. After that, they don't have problems joining the game anymore.

Ruleset(s): D&D 5e

Extensions/Themes: None except Lost Mines of Phandelver background decal

Modules Loaded:
- Adrian Kennelly: 100 Dungeon Myths, Legends and Rumours
- Adrian Kennelly: 100 Irrelevant Notes and Letters to Bamboozle Players
- Adrian Kennelly: 100 Less Than Useful Books to Find on a Fantasy Bookshelf
- Adrian Kennelly: Rumours for Towns and Villages
- Smiteworks: Calendars
- Smiteworks: FG Battle Maps
- WotC: D&D Dungeon Master's Guide + Players + Maps
- WotC: D&D Monster Manual
- WotC: D&D Phandelver and Below The Shattered Obelisk
- WotC: D&D Player's Handbook
- WotC: D&D Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide + Players + Maps
- WotC: D&D Volo's Guide to Monsters + Players + Maps
- WotC: D&D Xanathar's Guide to Everything + Players

Operating System / Language Setting: Windows 10 Home, Finnish UI language, Finnish keyboard layout

Steps to Reproduce: Create campaign, load modules, have new player attempt to join game (maybe having a recently registered user, maybe having recently installed FGU). Connection attempt doesn't advance from "attempting resolved connection" screen. So far unable to reproduce with a user that has once had a successful connection after several attempts.

Why this is still a problem: 2 more new players are going to be joining the campaign. Hoping to troubleshoot this issue before that.

My guess at this point is that the GM network has some sort of blocking/throttling that is preventing people from connecting due to burst traffic from initial connections causing settings on router and/or machine security software to kick in. I'm assuming GM side is probably the issue, since it's applying to all players and the GM would be getting/sending the most network traffic.

We put together a list of common settings that can possibly interfere with forming connections. Especially look for anything that would block/throttle traffic, due to any condition.

Thanks, I'll check the settings!

The problem was resolved after I disabled QoS (Quality of Service) on my router settings.
