I recently did a PC upgrade and haven't logged on over the holiday break but after I migrated my campaign files into the new copy of fantasy grounds I noticed this change.
Using 5e ruleset, previously only the active characters appeared as portraits in the top left corner of the screen and they only appeared when the player was logged in to the campaign. Now all the assigned characters are there all the time but are grayed out even if there are no players logged in.
Not sure if this was an intentional update or if I need to do an FGU reinstall.
