View Full Version : Compressed Header on Character Sheets

After a recent update, the header on character sheets in the Leather Theme is compressed (see attached screenshot). I haven't checked to see if this is happening in other themes. If it matters, we're using the PF2 Legacy ruleset.

Are you using any other extensions besides the single theme?

Yes, 4: CoreRPG - Combat Highlighter, CoreRPG - Has Initiative Indicator, CoreRPG - Wound Overlay, and PFRPG2 GM Enhancements. Deselecting all of them and loading the game vanilla , I still have the same compressed header on the PC sheets.

Try a new campaign with no extensions and see if a new PC has it. It's possible an extension has changed the campaign's data.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've started a new campaign, same ruleset, same theme, no extensions, and started to create a character. I'm showing the same issue (see attached)

Which ruleset version of Pathfinder are you using?

This appears like it's an issue specific to the leather theme - I've tested a few other themes and they work correctly with the PFRPG2 and PFRPG2-Legacy rulesets.
Thanks for reporting the issue - hopefully the FG devs will get this fixed soon. In the meantime you can still access the data in the top section that is partially obscured.

The issue is that the ruleset (PFRPG2/PFRPG2-Legacy) needs to be updated to use the "sub_charsheet" template instead of hard-coded subwindow positions. This allows themes to adjust the positions on the internal tabbed windows to fit the current theme. There are probably other themes that will also be overlapping as well.

As per the developer update guide: https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/2179694626/Developer+Guide+-+Historical+Change+Guide I had updated to use sub_charsheet_overview but I wasn't aware that the subwindow tabs also had to be changed to "sub_charsheet". I'll do some testing. Thanks for the pointer.

I added an additional note, since using sub_charsheet_overview will require using sub_charsheet for the theming to work right. (as we found here)
Thanks,
