Has anyone else had issues with PayPal? I've tried several times to purchase things through the store but every time there is an issue with PayPal and it pushes me back to the FG store saying there is an issue with billing. I went and did a test by going to DrivethruRPG and buying something there using PayPal and it worked. I've tried different browsers and only trying to purchase one item and that doesn't seem to fix the issues.

Update: I am able to buy gold through the Forge using PayPal, but the store still doesn't work for me.

You may have some success if you try a different browser or clear out your browser cache of cookies. At least this is how I solved the issue a few days ago. There seems to be some problem with Capcha intervening when you click on the final button which throws things off.

Occasionally, Paypal seems to get itself caught in a loop it can't get out of and won't charge correctly. We recommend the following steps (which is kind of a "nuke it from orbit" approach):
* Close all FantasyGrounds.com and Paypal.com tabs in your browser
* Clear the browser cache and delete all cookies with fantasygrounds.com or paypal.com in them
* Shut down the browser (make sure there isn't a "quick load" icon in the system tray that you may need to right-click on to completely close)
* Load browser --> go to https://www.fantasygrounds.com --> Log in with your FG account. This will set a new session token.
* Attempt your purchase again knowing there are no prior Paypal cookies or session tokens
This approach seems to work more often than not. We cannot mitigate all Paypal issues, obviously, but where purchases from our Store are involved, this seems to work in most cases.

Also, if you have more than 20 items in your cart it will fail.

Thanks everyone for trying to help, but no matter what I tried I could not get it to work. Hopefully next time there is a big sale PayPal will work for me.

Paypal is not working for me, either. Tried two different browsers, and can't get past the "Getting Wallet" stage.

How many items are you trying to buy?

I am only trying to buy one item. And I followed the steps in post #4.
It does not work, and just says "Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again."

An alternative that is not explicitly mentioned is using your mobile browser instead of the computer.
You would only be accessing the store, not doing any downloading. I do that when a sale drops and I am not at home sometimes.
PayPal does react differently on mobile sometimes.

It could also be a browser extension that is blocking the cookie holding the Store Cart transferring the info to Paypal.

I did try the mobile browser and that did not work, but I was able to buy gold coins for the forge on the FG site, which also uses PayPal, but the experience seemed different to how it works on the store. I haven’t tried to store since the 4th, so don’t know if it would work now.

I see the following information for this when searching online:
If you are stuck on "Getting your wallet" on PayPal, you can try the following:
Download the app to see if it will let you in to change / update it in the settings.
Use the forgotten password option several times.
Try another browser that may let you in without phone verification (then change it when you have logged in).
Open a new browser and log into your PayPal account.
Select a preferred payment method in the Wallet page of your PayPal account. Then when you review your payment page during checkout, change your payment method and see if the PayPal balance is an option.
Of that list, I would suggest trying to log into PayPal first in another browser and having that loaded before trying the transaction from here.
This is directly on PayPal's site and several user submitted suggestions seem to work for people. Either Ctrl+F5 on the page that says it is getting your wallet, or click browser's back button and then click to pay using PayPal a 2nd time.

I tried again tonight. It worked.
My steps were:
1. Log into PayPal on browser. Once logged in, Cntrl+F5.
2. Log on Fantasygrounds.com. Cntrl+F5.
3. Proceed through adding product to cart, and then checking out. It worked.
