Unable to add PCs to hotkey bar

After a recent update, I can no longer figure out how to load a PC to the Hotkey bar (or whatever it is called at the bottom of the screen).

If I had a previous shortcut there, it works, but if I drag from the load character frame or the character sheet, I am unable to use that shortcut to load a character.

The simple workaround is adding them to the Party Sheet and I can click the top. But I would like the ability to press a function key.

I wasn't aware of being able to link a PC from the character screen or from the PC sheet since I always understood that you needed a link icon or button to pin something to the taskbar (and neither of those are present in those areas). Testing this (in 5e) I can agree that dragging from the character screen or from the PC sheet itself doesn't create a link. Dragging the link icon from the Combat Tracker does work as does dragging from the party sheet. I don't know if this has always been the case or whether something has been introduced to prevent the linking using the methods you mentioned.

You can (and I'm sure you know this) open a character sheet by clicking on the portrait at the top left, clicking on the portrait in the party sheet, double clicking a token on the map, or clicking the link icon on the Combat Tracker.

The ruleset you are using may have an impact.

That is a better workaround of using the combat tracker. I can use this for now.

This is handy when developing a ruleset and being able to quickly reload and open back up to what you were working on.

Edit: I am dumb. I had no idea the option "Restore Windows on Start" existed. And now I wonder how many hours of my life have been wasted on extra clicks and hotkeys.

Thanks for the report. I'll get the fixed/added for the next release; so you can add from desktop portrait, character sheet portrait, or character selection.
